Lives a critter of the night,
The Silverfish, so cute and sweet,
With shiny scales from head to feet.

Oh the silverfish is not a fish
And it’s more of a dull grey
Is it related to the woodlouse?
That I could not say.

In cozy homes, it loves to roam,
Through crevices, it'll comb,
But don't you worry, it means no harm,

Silverfish, you're quite the sight,
With your silver armour shining bright,
Through the pages, you like to roam,
